Michael F. Gribben was born and raised in Butte, Montana. He attended Butte Business College and began to work for Newland & Binn CPA’s.

Michael started Butte’s H&R Block office in October of 1963. He expanded his offices to Bozeman in 1966, Livingston in 1970, and Belgrade in 2004.

In 2004, Michael achieved his Enrolled Agent License with the IRS, and he continues to receive continuing education credits every year.

In 2006, Michael was named Small Business Owner of the Year by the Butte Chamber of Commerce.

He sold the H&R Block franchise in 2012.

In 2013, Gribben Consulting was formed.
